What’s SUP?

On her maiden voyage, Sierra paddles her new custom carved paddle board at Donor Lake State Park. It was a beautiful September morning on serene Donor Lake. The water was clear as she glided over granite boulders peering from the depths below.

The world turns softly
Not to spill its lakes and rivers.

The water is held in its arms
And the sky is held in the water.

What is water, That pours silver,
And can hold the sky?

THE THRILL OF THE DOWNHILL

Northstar Mountain Bike Park in Tahoe claims to be the largest in Northern California. They offer trails from “less difficult” to“experts only.” Sierra’s bike might be small and pink but she definitely turned some heads that day on the mountain.
